How do I Make a EXISTING Chapter If I Do not see one above in my state?
Fill out the form above!
What are the requirements and time COMMITMENTs?
This will vary from person to person, and chapter to chapter. There are no strict time commitments, but we want chapters to be producing a minimum of roughly 10 hours per month in tutoring. We require you to submit this online through the log with our head. We only ask that you update your contact information, and tell us if anything changes or if you need any thing from the national organization. You'll be able to read more about this once you've become a chapter due to the written by-laws we have in place.
School or Community?
This choice sounds hard, but here are some break downs. If you have it in the school, it becomes more accessible to members, fundraisers will be more concentrated on the students, and you can make set times with our national tutoring partners to tutor students. If you have it in the community, you can have a variety of people, the networking could be better, more flexibility on projects, and this could even happen online in the form of meetings. If you need help getting this chapter in your school, please email Anne Wang ( firstname.lastname@example.org ) to advocate and write a letter of request to aid you with this! We want to be your partner and work with you on this!
I don't live in the US. How can I still be a part of this?
If we can tutor students abroad, we can definitely have chapters abroad. Sign Up!
